Paul, I sent my payment on the 21st, it was due on the 24th. I sent it through PayPal, and got a letter today that I hadn't been verified, I didn't want to use the PayPay card, the APR was too high. So now I'm verified and you should have received the payment. Please don't delete my account. I'll call the credit card that I used later and see if there's been a debit to my account. Everything seems ok in PayPal though as far as the payments listed.
If this didn't work, I'll sent you a check.
BTW How're you and your family doing?
mike

Mike, I don't see a payment
Mike, I don't see a payment at PayPal yet. Typically, they credit a merchant with a payment within seconds.
If you want to set up a PayPal account, you give them a bank account number. They send your account a couple of tiny payments - say, 8c and 13c - and then you prove it's your account by telling them what the deposits were. With an account, you can have a balance, and send and receive money.
But if you just want to buy something with a credit card, you don't have to set up an account. You can't *receive* money without an account, but you should be able to pay without one.
Blondie's mood has been up-and-down a lot lately. She's a staunch Democrat, and she was sorta leaning towards Barack until he made that comment in the debate, saying she's likeable enough. That really ticked her off, although being a man, I'm not sure why. She decided they were being mean to Hillary because she was female, and she's been solidly in Hillary's corner ever since.
I'm a conservative independent, registered as a Republican, because if you register Independent, you don't get to vote in the spring. I tried to convince her that they were attacking Hillary as the front-runner, not as a woman, and just about got kicked out on the sidewalk for my efforts.
Then when Bill started playing rough with lying and distortions, she got upset that people were calling him on it. She got really upset when the voting in North Carolina went so heavily for Barack, and the exit polls showed that even the white voters went for Edwards, not for Hillary.
Of course, my theory is that in Nevada and New Hampshire, there were a lot of Republicans voting in an open primary as Democrats for Hillary, because they figure running against her is their only chance for victory this fall. Bill was very careful to point out that Republicans could caucus with the Democrats, then switch back to being Republicans in time to vote in the primaries. I'm sure Hillary's supporters will be aghast at my interpretation, though.
And today, when Caroline, Patrick, and Teddy Kennedy endorsed Barack, she got very upset. "It's not fair, them endorsing her like that." She didn't see anything unfair when Governor Rendell endorsed Hillary last week, but I'm not going to point that out to her; it's *cold* out there on that sidewalk.
So how are we doing here? Blondie is sulking, I'm keeping my yap shut, and Marie is getting a lot of attention. Marie's DOB is April 17, 2002, so she has her 42nd birthday coming up, and we're trying to figure out what to do as a celebration. She is SO affectionate, and having a dog like that is such a blessing when Blondie is upset by the elections.
I wish I were insane
Sanity is just so boring
